The 3rd China Particle Accelerator Conference (CPAC’18) was held in Dongguan from November 7th to 9th, 2018. This conference was sponsored by the Particle Accelerator Branch (subordinate to the Chinese Physical Society and the Chinese Nuclear Society), and undertaken by the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The purpose of the conference was to comprehensively exchange the latest research progress and achievements in the physics and technology of particle accelerators and their applications in China. The academic exchanges of CPAC18 were divided into plenary talks, invited talks, oral presentations, and poster presentations. CPAC provided a platform for young people to learn from and communicate with each other, and young people were the main body of the oral report speakers at this conference. This conference broke new ground by adding an Accelerator Industry Exchange Meeting, which provided a better and deeper level of communication opportunities for scientific research institutions and personnel, as well as accelerator service and manufacturing companies. As the main sponsor of the conference, the company sponsored the evaluation of the "Hope Cup" Paper Award, arranged technical personnel to participate in the academic conference. Comrade Zhang Honghui gave a report at the Accelerator Industry Exchange Meeting, demonstrating the company's technical strength in the field of accelerators to scientific researchers from major domestic accelerator research institutions.
